After finishing my Master’s in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I started work in the brewing industry. I spent the early years of my career in the brew houses of traditional and craft breweries, with work in operations, continuous improvement, and quality control. After a switch to the manufacture of commercial yeast, I spent several years running one of Lallemand’s yeast fermentation operations in the UK.
Joining Legume Technology in 2022, my expertise in operations and fermentation are put to use running the entire manufacturing process from purchasing raw materials to dispatch of the final products. We are innovating and growing to make sure we can continue to supply the rapidly growing market for green alternatives to chemical agricultural aides; it’s rare to find a vocation that is this aspirational, interesting, and rewarding on a personal level.
