Soya
Soya is one of the biggest crops on the planet. It’s traded internationally as a commodity and is used for animal feed and human consumption.
The key benefit of using an inoculant for soya, is the significant cost benefit to growers. Not only is the yield of soya per hectare increased, but the protein content of the soya beans is also improved.
In many of our trials we can see an average of a 5% increase in protein content. In an uninoculated field, beans contain 35% protein – however, by using our high concentration inoculants, protein content can be 40-42%, an increase in yield of around 12%. What’s more, farmers will typically get a higher price for beans with a higher protein content.
Field trials have demonstrated that soya crops will also benefit from the application of our mycorhizae and micronutrient prodcuts.
