Having obtained a degree in Biological Science from the University of Portsmouth, I later gained an MSc in Crop Protection from the University of Reading. I worked at Glasshouse Crops Research Institute, Agricultural Genetics Company, Microbio, Becker Underwood and BASF Agricultural Specialities, where I worked on the development and manufacture of nematodes and inoculant products.
I joined Legume Technology in 2017. Because of my experience with liquid fermentation I’ve been heavily involved with the design and operation of our equipment to ensure we’re able to manufacture a range of microbial biostimulants. I manage the entire manufacturing process from purchasing raw materials to dispatch of the final products. It’s fantastic that we’re trying to find green alternatives to chemical options available on the market.
